A passion for food from an early age led to diverse kitchen jobs. During my last job, before starting my own company, I was a chef & instructor, teaching professional kitchen skills & Dutch language to unemployed people with diverse backgrounds. I was coached during 6 months to teach mostly spoken language to non-native speakers. Being a part of this mix of people working together creating flavourful food, as well as traveling and eating abroad, inspired me to bring impressions of world flavours, with a Jerry’s twist, to your table.
I dream of an inclusive society where togetherness and great food are a way of life. So…
…I started my own company ‘Jerry’s Fine Foods’ in december 2019. As from april 2022 we are officialy a ‘work experience’ place. Our first employee is Pat, she has Nigerian origin and started in May 2022. We teach Dutch language and kitchen skills and after a trajectory of 1,5 year, we either hire them or have provided them with enough skills to start in other restaurants. Wish us good luck 😉
